TSTA Science Quarterly needs your help!

We know how creative you are and we ask that you share your ideas with the science teachers of Tennessee. From lesson plans to favorite websites to ideas for new teachers, Tennessee teachers are the best resource for making the newsletter as useful as it can be.

What is your favorite science lesson? Submit your lesson to share with educators across Tennessee. Please include objectives, materials, procedure, assessment, and special set-up instructions plus your contact information. See below for other guidelines.

Events and Opportunities

Organizations are invited to submit flyers, announcements, and other science-related opportunities to the newsletter.

General Submission Guidelines

Paragraph form, spelling checked, WORD format, single spaced
Please send only completed articles.
Avoid using formatting within the text.
If you didn’t write the article, please refer to source and link.
Include any applicable website addresses. Double check to make sure it correctly links to an active page.
Indicate whether the article is time sensitive.
Provide complete bibliographic information for references. Include name of author and title plus contact email.
Use active voice and avoid jargon
Pictures: Submit graphics as JPGs or GIFs, high resolution, include the names of the people in the pictures when possible, double check on correct spelling of names before sending for submission
PDF documents may be edited due to space constraints.
